Job summary

Automotive Technology Experts (ATE) is hiring a Field Mechanic Technician responsible for delivering high quality mechanical, diagnostic, programming, calibration, electrical, and safety services to Crash Champions locations, third party partners, and retail customers. The role combines mechanical repair with advanced diagnostics and ADAS calibration.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of automotive mechanical experience required, with broad scope beyond calibration-only roles.
• Must complete I-CAR PL3 certification within 90 days of hire and have ASE certification scheduled within 90 days of hire.
• Strong knowledge of ADAS, electrical diagnostics, diagnostics, programming, calibrations, and OEM procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality mechanical, diagnostic, programming, calibration, electrical, and safety services to customers.
• Travel daily to service locations in company-provided vehicle.
• Perform ADAS diagnostics/calibrations when trained and authorized.
• Document all services and test results per OEM guidelines and MCP standards.
• Conduct test drives to verify system functionality and repair outcomes.
