Job summary
Automotive Technology Experts (ATE) is seeking a Field Mechanic Technician to deliver high-quality mechanical and diagnostic services on the go. You will travel daily in a company vehicle to Crash Champions locations and partners, performing repairs, ADAS calibrations, and programming as required.
The role blends mechanical repair with advanced diagnostics, requiring CDL-like versatility, strong safety focus, and adherence to OEM procedures.
Qualifications
- 4+ years automotive mechanical experience with ADAS and safety-critical scope.
- Proficient in diagnostics, programming, calibrations, and OEM procedures.
- Ability to read OEM service information and wiring diagrams.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, scanning, programming, calibrations, electrical diagnostics, and light to moderate mechanical services.
- Perform mechanical repairs including suspension, brakes, HVAC, dash removal, and airbag installation.
- Conduct engine, drivetrain, cooling system, and post-collision inspections per OEM standards.
- Own mechanical root-cause resolution and electronic validation of vehicle systems.
- Document services, calibrations, and repairs per OEM guidelines and MCP policies.
