Job summary

Block Imaging is seeking a field service technician to deliver high-quality support for medical imaging equipment (CT, Nuclear Medicine) across the United States. You will install, inspect, test, troubleshoot, and maintain systems, ensuring OEM specifications and safety standards are met.

The role requires travel, strong problem-solving, and customer-focused service. You’ll document activities, provide on-site training, and collaborate with teams to improve reliability of imaging performance for

• Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with customers, vendors, and team members.
• High attention to detail with reliable follow-through and safe work practices.
• Proficiency with computers, diagnostic software, hardware troubleshooting, and data management.

Responsibilities

• Service, install, evaluate, and maintain medical imaging equipment across the United States.
• Calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair imaging systems and computer components to meet OEM specifications.
• Perform preventive maintenance and resolve advanced electronic, mechanical, and network-related issues.
• Represent the company professionally during on-site visits and communicate customer feedback to internal teams.
• Expand technical knowledge and contribute to improving engineering competency.
• Provide timely project updates and responses to technical inquiries to support decision-making and customer satisfaction.
• Document new processes and provide training to end users, while supporting additional duties.
• Ensure updates, calibrations or repairs are completed properly by running tests or diagnostics.
• Driving and vehicle operation are essential functions of this role.
