Job summary

Block Imaging seeks a field service technician to install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain medical imaging equipment across the United States. You will work independently at hospital sites, ensuring imaging performance aligns with OEM specs and safety standards.

The role requires strong problem-solving, customer communication, and the ability to work on site in diverse healthcare environments, with frequent travel and rigorous safety practices.

Qualifications

• 1-7 years in medical imaging engineering or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with field service for imaging equipment such as X-ray is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Service, install, evaluate, and maintain medical imaging equipment across the United States.
• Calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair imaging systems to meet OEM specs.
• Perform preventive maintenance and resolve complex electronic, mechanical, and network issues.
• Document service activities and provide training to end users as needed.
• Drive and operate company vehicles to hospital/clinic sites.
