Job summary

CBRE, a global leader in facility management, is seeking a Mobile Facilities Technician to maintain critical mechanical and electrical systems across multiple sites in a Monday–Friday first-shift role. You will travel between assigned sites, perform preventive maintenance, and handle corrective repairs to support a safe, compliant corporate environment.

Responsibilities include reviewing work orders, assisting with equipment installations, and supporting energy management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. Valid Driver’s License required.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
• Basic math skills (percentages, discounts, markups).

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed building systems, equipment, and facilities.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs; manage and track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Follow existing procedures to solve straightforward problems with limited discretion.
• Deliver output by following defined procedures under supervision.
