Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Philadelphia is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Technician/Engineer to perform preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, systems, and equipment across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and related trades.

You will support and monitor building operations, review work orders, and implement preventive maintenance programs while adhering to safety and environmental standards. This role involves driving company vehicles and collaborating with teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 4–5 years of related experience.
• EPA Universal CFC certification preferred; valid driver’s license required.
• Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs of mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems for the facility.
• Review work orders, estimate time and materials, and maintain inventory.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment life and oversee emergency maintenance.
• Inspect building systems (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) for design and environmental compliance.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety directives; operate company vehicles.
• Apply in-depth knowledge to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge; lead by example within CBRE RISE values.
