Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Mobile Engineer to perform building maintenance across retail sites, focusing on HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general repairs. You will manage work orders, coordinate preventive maintenance, and ensure safety compliance while using a company vehicle and tools provided.

The role requires physical capability, a high school diploma or equivalent, and valid licensing. CBRE emphasizes safety, integrity, and service excellence as part of the RISE values.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4–5 years of job-related experience.
• Universal CFC certification and Valid Driver’s license required.
• Able to lift/carry heavy loads (50 lbs or more) and meet physical requirements.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Apple products; Service Channel experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural and control systems.
• Review inspections to ensure equipment operates within design specs and environmental standards.
• Document estimated time to complete work orders and material requirements.
• Maintain truck stock inventory and ensure adequate supplies and tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance and coordinate emergency repairs as needed.
