Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Technician to perform repairs and preventive maintenance across multiple buildings and systems. The role involves servicing mechanical, electrical, and other installed building infrastructure, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

You will review work orders, estimate time and materials, and ensure regulatory compliance. Applicants should have 1–2 years of related experience or an appropriate trade school credential, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Basic math skills for percentages, discounts, and markups.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed building systems, equipment, and facilities.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs. Manage and track completion.
• Support energy management by taking measures to ensure that all systems are operating in the most efficient manner.
• Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Use communication skills to exchange straightforward information. Respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
• Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
