Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) is seeking a Mobile Engineer to support 5–6 retail stores within a defined geographic area. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing and preventive maintenance on commercial RTUs and split systems, along with electrical, plumbing, carpentry and other building tasks.

Company vehicle, gas card, tools, iPad and iPhone are provided. You will document work via PDA and coordinate with contractors as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2+ years related experience or trade school training.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Ability to operate a full-size van/truck.
• EPA/CFC certification preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Familiarity with work order systems and email.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance on building systems.
• Estimate time and materials; order supplies; manage work orders in CMMS.
• Lead troubleshooting of HVAC, plumbing, roofs, drains; ensure code compliance.
• Inspect fire alarms, HVAC/R, and plumbing; ensure environmental conditions.
• Oversee work by outside contractors; maintain lighting systems.
• Perform furniture assembly and locksmith tasks as needed.
• Respond to emergencies; report daily activity via PDA.
