CBRE GWS is seeking a field maintenance technician to support 5-6 retail stores in a defined geographic area. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing and preventive maintenance on commercial RTUs, split systems, and related building trades.

Company vehicle, gas card, tools, iPad and iPhone are provided. You will perform HVAC, plumbing and electrical tasks, inspect and ensure safety and building code compliance, and coordinate with contractors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2+ years of related experience or trade school training.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Ability to functionally operate a full-size van/truck.
• Universal CFC or EPA certification preferred.
• Excellent social skills, including oral and written communications.
• Proficient with computer/PDA for work orders, email and training.

Responsabilités

• Perform day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance and document work.
• Review work orders and estimate time/materials; order supplies; use CMMS to track tasks.
• Lead troubleshooting and repairs of HVAC, plumbing, roofs, drains and related systems.
• Inspect new installations for code compliance and safety.
• Check building systems (fire alarms, HVAC/R, plumbing) for proper operation.
• Oversee work by outside contractors and ensure quality.
• Maintain lighting systems, including ballast replacements.
• Assemble furniture and perform locksmith tasks as needed.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and communicate daily progress via PDA.
