Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Facilities Maintenance Technician to service 5-6 retail stores in the Newark area.

You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, flooring, roofing, and painting, using a company vehicle and provided tools. Responsibilities include inspections, troubleshooting, and timely response to service requests, with emphasis on safety and quality of service.

Qualifications

Experience in building maintenance or facilities management.
Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and other building systems.
HVAC experience is a plus.
Valid driver's license with clean record.
Good problem-solving and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Excellent communication and service orientation.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and corrective repair of equipment, buildings, and grounds.
Conduct inspections to determine maintenance needs and implement solutions.
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical and other systems to ensure efficiency.
Respond promptly to service requests and complete tasks to meet client standards.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
Collaborate with team members and clients to deliver outstanding service.
Adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
Provide support for emergency situations and on-call duties.
