Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Mobile Route Engineer to travel between branch locations, providing preventive maintenance and rapid-response repairs to ensure facilities are safe, functional, and welcoming for customers.

In a unionized setting with a Monday–Friday day shift, you will service mechanical, plumbing, life safety, and HVAC systems, applying technical expertise to maintain critical infrastructure and support the client’s operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 3-4 years of job-related experience.
• Valid Driver’s License and Universal CFC certification.
• Ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to use PC/PDA for work order systems and email.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs of mechanical, plumbing, structural, fire, life safety, and control systems for multiple facilities.
• Review work orders, estimate time/materials, and maintain supplies and tools.
• Implement preventive maintenance to extend equipment life.
• Ensure compliance with codes and safety directives.
