Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) in Allentown, PA seeks a Mobile Engineer to oversee preventive maintenance and repairs for building systems across multiple sites. You’ll lead maintenance for mechanical, plumbing, life safety, and control systems while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong problem-solving skills, independent work style, and the ability to manage inventories and respond to emergencies, supporting CBRE’s client-centric facilities management

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience in preventive maintenance and repairs of mechanical, industrial systems, and building infrastructure.
• Ability to review work orders, estimate time/materials, and manage tools and supplies.
• Familiarity with codes and safety regulations governing building operations and field service work.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and repairs of mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems to keep facilities up to standards.
• Review work orders, estimate time and materials, and maintain inventory of supplies and tools.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment life and manage repairs and emergencies.
• Review inspections of building systems (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) to ensure optimal operation and environmental compliance.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and company directives related to building operations and safety.
• Operate company vehicles to perform daily tasks.
• Apply deep expertise to solve complex challenges, deliver innovative solutions, and mentor others.
• Model CBRE’s RISE values to influence teams and drive outcomes.
