Job summary

CBRE seeks a Mobile Building Engineer to support multiple facilities in the Philadelphia area, performing repairs and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems.

The role involves travel within the region, maintenance planning, and ensuring safety/compliance with applicable codes. A valid driver's license and EPA licenses are preferred, with strong teamwork and reliability emphasized.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Proven building engineer experience; minimum 4 years.
EPA Universal license is required or highly preferred.
Mobile maintenance experience highly preferred.
Valid driver's license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

Oversee maintenance and repairs of mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety and control systems.
Review work orders, estimate time/materials, and manage inventory of supplies and tools.
Implement preventive maintenance to meet or exceed design life and handle emergency repairs.
Inspect building and industrial systems (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) for proper operation.
Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
