Job summary

Rivian is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support vehicle repairs and customer interactions. Based in Pennsylvania, the role may require travel to various locations, including the Montgomeryville service center opening in October 2026.

The position involves diagnosing, repairing, and testing Rivian vehicles with a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment. Applicants should have a High School Diploma, be 21+, possess a valid license, and be comfortable lifting up to 50 lb.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must be 21 years or older and able to lift up to 50 lb.
• Clear English communication and ability to read schematics.
• Experience in automotive shop or EV repair is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install, and inspect vehicles at service centers or in the field.
• Explain Rivian products, EV framework, tools, and accessories to customers.
• Follow repair procedures using technical resources without compromising safety.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality.
• Manage parts ordering, receiving, shipping, and inventory.
• Document work and technical notes for internal/external use.
