Job summary

Rivian is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support Rivian vehicle repairs. The role may require travel to various locations, including the production plant, and involves working in dynamic settings with minimal supervision.

Candidates should have automotive shop experience, EV repair exposure, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Must be 21+ years old with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Able to operate Windows or Mac laptops/computers.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install, and inspect vehicles at service centers or on-site.
• Explain Rivian products and EV framework to customers and team members.
• Follow repair procedures with safety and quality in mind.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality.
• Manage parts ordering, receiving, and inventory.
• Document all work and notes for internal use.
