Job summary

Rivian is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support vehicle repairs in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The role may require travel to various locations, including the production plant, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and safety.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be comfortable with hand/power tools, and possess a valid driver’s license. EV/heavy repair experience is a plus and ongoing training is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Must be 21 years old or older.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Experience in automotive shop preferred; EV/hybrid repair a plus.
• Able to operate a laptop/PC in Windows or Mac environments.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install, and inspect vehicles at service centers or in the field.
• Explain Rivian products, EV framework, tools, and accessories.
• Follow repair procedures and safety standards using available resources.
• Conduct road tests to verify repairs and service campaigns as needed.
• Manage parts, including ordering, receiving, and inventory.
• Document work and maintain professional customer communications.
• Collaborate with team and stay current with training requirements.
• Interact with customers, suppliers, and Rivian facilities as needed.
