Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Field Service Technician to support vehicle repairs, with work spanning service centers and customer sites. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and high-quality diagnostics in a fast-paced environment.

The position may require travel to various locations, including the production plant, and may involve early mornings, evenings, or weekend shifts based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Able to work a 40-hour week including weekends/holidays as needed.
• Proficient with Windows or Mac computers.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle diagnosis, repairs, installations and inspections at service centers or in the field.
• Identify Rivian product lines, EV framework, tools and accessories.
• Follow repair procedures with safety and quality in mind.
• Conduct road tests to verify repairs.
• Manage parts operations including ordering, receiving, shipping and inventory.
• Document all work and notes for internal/external uses.
• Collaborate with team and maintain professional customer communication.
• Stay current with technical skills and required training.
