Job summary

JLL is seeking a Mobile Engineer to operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across assigned facilities. You will ensure energy efficiency, safety, and reduced downtime by proactive repairs and thorough record-keeping.

Responsibilities include preventive and repair work orders, system maintenance, inspections, and emergency responses. Training and overtime may be required; relocation is onsite in Watertown, NY.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.
• Universal CFC recovery certification.
• Four+ years of technical experience in building engineering with strong HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and system design knowledge.
• Tools will be provided to perform assigned work scope.
• Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs and climb ladders up to 30 ft.
• On-call duties and overtime as required.
• Background, drug/alcohol, and MVR screening required.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive and repair work orders on facility mechanical, electrical and other systems.
• Maintain, operate, and repair HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing and related building systems.
• Perform facility inspections and due diligence on conditions affecting occupancy and operations.
• Respond to emergencies as needed.
• Prepare management reports summarizing conditions and recommended actions.
• Learn and use building automation, fire/life safety and related equipment.
