Job summary

JLL is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across assigned facilities in the Waterbury, CT area. You will assist senior mechanics and handle inspections, repairs, and documentation to ensure optimal facility operations and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities include cleaning HVAC coils, maintaining plumbing components, servicing locks and doors, performing painting tasks, and handling tenant

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 1+ year of related experience in carpentry, electrical, or plumbing preferred.
• EPA Universal License preferred; BAS experience and preventative maintenance are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean HVAC coils, replace filters and belts; repair plumbing components including toilets, urinals, lavatories, sinks and water heaters.
• Maintain and repair locks, doors, closers and furniture across facilities.
• Document fire extinguishers and other building systems to ensure compliance.
• Prepare, prime and paint interior and exterior surfaces; perform general handyman tasks.
• Complete special tasks including painting, locksmith work and tenant service requests.
• Prioritize proactive, corrective, and emergent work orders for assigned sites.
• Update work orders in the CMMS system and escalate issues to customers and management in a timely manner.
