Job summary

CBRE HV is seeking a Mobile Engineer to maintain and repair building systems, facilities, and related equipment. You will oversee preventive maintenance, review work orders, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across mechanical, plumbing, and life-safety systems.

The role requires 4–5 years of experience, a Universal CFC certification, and a valid driver's license. Supervisory experience is preferred, with the ability to coach others and manage costs and inventory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school acceptable.
• 4–5 years of related experience required or combination of education/experience.
• Universal CFC certification and valid driver’s license required.
• Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs for mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems.
• Review work orders and estimate time and materials; manage supplies and tools.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to extend life of building systems.
• Inspect building and industrial systems (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) for design compliance.
• Ensure compliance with codes and safety regulations and company directives.
• Operate company vehicles to perform daily tasks.
• Share knowledge and coach others within the function.
• Lead by example and build consensus to reach agreements.
• Impact a range of client, project, and service activities within teams.
• Follow broad guidelines and policies; explain complex or sensitive information.
