Job summary

Versiti Blood Center of Ohio is seeking a Donor Driver to perform phlebotomy-related duties and operate the mobile drive vehicle. You will load/unload supplies, transport staff safely, and ensure a high-quality donation experience for donors.

You will perform donor screening and phlebotomy, assist automation processes, and maintain accurate records while upholding a positive team culture and strict safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required/preferred.
• 1–3 years of relevant people-facing experience preferred; less than 1 year required.
• Valid Driver License and cargo certification required.

Responsibilities

• Follows DOT guidelines when operating a full-size commercial van/Promaster and safely transports staff, supplies, and equipment.
• Loads/unloads supplies and sets up at the mobile site, including technology systems and quality control.
• Performs donor screening, mini-physical, and phlebotomy.
• Delivers exceptional donor service with a positive, professional image and responds to inquiries promptly.
• Recruits and converts donors for automation (Alyx/Trima) and maintains donor records.
• Rebooks donors for future donation appointments.
• Adheres to regulatory and compliance requirements and company SOPs.
