Job summary

Versiti is seeking a Specialist, Donor CDL to perform phlebotomy on whole blood and apheresis products. The role drives the mobile drive vehicle, ensures donor safety, and delivers a high level of customer service to create an excellent donation experience.

With a valid CDL and DOT familiarity, you will set up collection sites, screen donors, and perform phlebotomy while maintaining compliance and teamwork. Opportunities include growth within a mission-driven blood service organization.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL license.
• 1-3 years of donor-facing experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Follows DOT and regulatory safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile drive bus with CDL in compliance with DOT.
• Prepare collection site and set up equipment and systems.
• Perform donor screening, mini-physical, and phlebotomy.
• Provide exceptional donor experience and handle inquiries professionally.
• Assist with automation (Alyx/Trima) and donor recruitment for automation.
• Maintain equipment, records, and donor identification.
• Respond to donor reactions and assist as needed.
