Job summary

Rush Truck Centers is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to maintain client fleets and handle on-site service calls. Responsibilities include basic maintenance, diagnostics, and parts reconditioning, with focus on customer service and safety. CDL and 1–2 years of Class 7 & 8 technician experience preferred. On-call availability and accurate reporting are essential.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• 1–2 years' experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of equipment to company standards.
• Perform basic maintenance and inspections; document results.
• Diagnose and repair trucks using diagnostic equipment and manuals.
• Handle after-hours service calls as needed.
• Maintain and inventory service truck tools and parts.
• Communicate repairs to customers and service writers.
