Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel & Trailer Technician for on-site field service across our nationwide network. You will perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and a range of repairs on light to heavy-duty trucks and trailers.

Candidates must meet high safety standards, maintain parts inventory, and document work using company systems. Training and growth opportunities are available within Cox Fleet.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 3 years in related field or equivalent combination.
• ASE certification preferred; DOT/FMVSA compliance knowledge.
• Ability to perform DOT inspections and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs on trucks and trailers.
• Diagnose, adjust and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems.
• Operate in mobile/field environment with safety and regulatory compliance.
