Job summary

Allegiance Trucks, LLC seeks a Mobile Diesel Technician to travel to customer sites in Maine to maintain and repair trucks and engines. You will perform troubleshooting, electrical work, and diagnostics to keep vehicles in top condition.

You will read repair orders, install components, inspect safety devices, lubricate moving parts, and road-test repaired vehicles to verify compliance. A strong toolbox and valid license are required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years minimum experience as a medium/heavy diesel technician.
• Must have completed diesel/automotive certificate programs or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Able to use a PC and basic applications.
• Must possess a full set of personal hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer worksite to maintain and repair customer vehicles.
• Provide technical service including troubleshooting, electrical and diagnostic work.
• Read repair orders and perform repairs on trucks, engines and components.
• Install injectors, pistons, liners, cam shafts, bearings, oil pans, clutches, brakes and transmissions.
• Inspect and adjust safety guards and devices on trucks.
• Lubricate moving parts and road-test repaired vehicles to verify repairs.
• Advise service staff if additional repairs are needed.
• Tag return warranty parts.
• Maintain a neat, safe work environment and handle tools properly.
• Follow safety procedures and request assistance when needed.
• Other projects as assigned.
