Job summary

Allegiance Trucks is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician to travel to customer sites across the Northeast, perform diagnostic and repair work on medium to heavy trucks and engines, and support service operations with safe, quality maintenance.

You will read repair orders, install parts, and ensure repairs meet specifications while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. A valid driver’s license and tools are required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years minimum work experience as a medium and/or heavy diesel technician.
• Must possess a full set of personal hand tools.
• Must have completed appropriate diesel/automotive certificate programs or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Able to read Repair Orders and perform general and detailed repair of trucks, engines and components.
• Able to use a personal computer and basic applications.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer worksite to maintain and repair customer vehicles.
• Provide technical service on vehicles and equipment including troubleshooting, electrical and diagnostic services
• Read Repair Orders and repair trucks, engines and components as required
• Install parts and perform repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes and other components
• Maintain a neat, safe, and compliant work environment and follow safety practices
• Assist Service staff with additional repair work as needed
• Complete warranty part tagging and documentation
