Job summary

Allegiance Trucks is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician to travel to customer worksites, diagnose and repair medium- and heavy-duty trucks across multiple brands. You will perform electrical, mechanical and diagnostic service, read repair orders, and complete repairs to ensure safety and reliability.

Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, a full set of personal tools, and relevant diesel/automotive certificates or hands‑on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of work experience as a Medium and/or Heavy Diesel Technician.
• Must possess a full set of personal hand tools.
• Must have, or be able to develop through training, a detailed knowledge of commercial truck and engine repair.
• Must have completed diesel/automotive certificate programs or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer worksite to maintain and repair customer vehicles.
• Provide technical service on vehicles and equipment including troubleshooting, electrical and diagnostic services
• Read Repair Orders and be able to perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines and components
• Install injectors, pistons, liners, cam shafts, cylinder heads, rod & main bearings, oil pans, clutches, etc.
• Examine protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks, and adjust as needed
• Lubricate moving parts and verify conformance to specifications
• Advise the Service staff if additional repair work is necessary
• Tag all return warranty parts
• Maintain a neat, orderly, and safe work environment
• Follow safe work practices and use safety equipment as required
• Other projects/initiatives as assigned
