Job summary

Rush Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Diesel Mechanic to service our fleet at client locations in Tulsa, OK.

You will perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs with a focus on safety and quality, and you will maintain inventory and documentation to ensure efficient, reliable service. The role requires a CDL and Medical card along with 9 years of Class 7/8 technician experience in a dealership or truck service setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 9 years' experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
• Current and valid CDL and Medical card as required by the FMVSS.
• Mechanical aptitude and technical ability required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of equipment according to company standards.
• Handle basic maintenance of the truck including fueling, oil checks, cleanliness, and inspections.
• Manage inventory control on the service truck and for keeping the vehicle properly stocked.
• Report to the Service Manager and receive daily duties.
• Maintain availability for after-hours service calls and open work schedule.
• Read job orders and observe vehicle operation to determine malfunction and plan work procedures.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment to determine malfunction and perform repairs.
