Cox Automotive, a leader in fleet services, seeks a Mobile Diesel Technician II in Worcester, MA. You will perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a mobile/field basis, using company-provided tools and TRAIT app to document work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or higher with related field experience.
• DOT requirements and safety compliance knowledge.
• ASE certification is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and DOT inspections on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair diesel truck equipment including electrical, cooling, brakes, engines, transmissions, and air conditioning.
• Inspect, test, and diagnose malfunctions; road test vehicles to verify repairs and performance.
• Manage parts inventory on service truck and document work using iOS TRAIT app.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations; complete all required forms and documentation.
