Job summary

CoxFleet in Ashland, KY is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light-to-mid repairs on a mobile/field fleet. This role requires diagnostic skills, tool use, and adherence to safety standards.

You will work with on-site clients, manage shop documentation, and maintain company trucks and equipment. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with a variable shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with related field experience.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• Must pass DOT background screening and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM and DOT inspections on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/feld environment.
• Diagnose, repair, and adjust electrical, cooling, engine and hydraulic systems.
• Inspect, test, and road-test vehicles to ensure proper operation.
• Manage parts inventory and documentation via iOS TRAIT app.
