Job summary

Cox Fleet in the United States is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and light-to-heavy repairs in a mobile/field setting. You’ll work under supervision but increasingly handle advanced diagnostics and service tasks while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 3 years' related experience, or 5 years related experience in lieu.
• Own set of hand tools necessary to perform required duties.
• DOT/FMCSA requirements, DOT medical card or eligibility, and DOT background screening.
• Valid driver's license and at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on light to heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field settings.
• Diagnose, adjust and repair electrical, hydraulic, braking, cooling, and engine systems on trucks and trailers.
• Record work performed and parts used via company app and complete DOT forms promptly.
• Maintain company service truck and inventory, and communicate with management for approvals on estimates.
