Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on light to heavy-duty trucks in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose, repair, and test various systems, while maintaining safety and compliance standards.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED with relevant experience, a toolset, and ASE T8 certification within 18 months. Shift is Monday–Friday with a competitive benefits package and sign-on bonus.

Qualifikationen

• HS Diploma/GED with 3 years in related field, or 5 years' related experience.
• Own a set of hand tools.
• ASE T8 certification required within 18 months.
• DOT/FMCSA pre-employment screening and DOT physical required.
• 21+ years old and valid driver's license.

Aufgaben

• Perform scheduled PMs, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs in mobile/field setting.
• Carry out minor adjustments and repairs on truck equipment (electrical, brakes, cooling, engine electronics, transmissions, etc.).
• Diagnose and repair electrical/air conditioning systems, steering, and drivetrain components.
• Inspect and test defective equipment using instruments; road test to verify repairs.
• Manage parts inventory and document findings on Repair Orders via iOS TRAIT app.
• Complete DOT forms timely and maintain safety checks on service vehicle.
