Job summary

CoxFleet is actively hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on a mobile fleet. The role requires diagnosing electrical/ mechanical systems and test-driving vehicles to ensure proper operation.

The ideal candidate will have a HS diploma or GED, 3 years' related experience, and ASE T8 certification within 18 months; DOT compliance and safety are essential in a fast-paced field environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; 3 years’ related experience or 5 years in related field.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs on light to heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems; test and road test vehicles.
• Manage parts inventory and document work using company tools and RO paperwork.
