Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician II in Tulsa, OK. The role involves performing DOT inspections and PMs on light to heavy-duty trucks in a mobile/field setting, with a focus on advanced diagnostics and repairs.

You will work Sunday through Wednesday, 1pm–11pm, in a high-responsibility environment. Responsibilities include diagnosing systems, road testing, managing parts on a service truck, and documenting findings using our TRAIT platform.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with 3 years related field experience or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
• Own a set of hand tools necessary to perform required duties.
• DOT/FMCSA compliance and DOT medical card requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM and DOT inspections on light to heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, cooling, engine, and brake systems on trucks.
• Test vehicles and road test to ensure proper operation after repairs.
• Document work and parts used on RO via iOS device and TRAIT app.
• Manage parts inventory and maintain company service truck.
• Communicate with management for approvals and purchase orders.
• Follow safety, health, and environmental policies and regulations.
