Job summary

Cox Automotive - USA is seeking a Sr Mobile Diesel Technician - DOT to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and on-site repairs for fleets nationwide. This individual will work in a mobile/field environment, diagnosing complex systems and ensuring vehicle readiness.

The role supports Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm shifts with 100% travel to client locations, and offers hourly pay in the $32.26 to $48.41 range plus potential incentives and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required; 3+ years in related field preferred.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification must be obtained within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and PMs on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field settings.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, engine and drivetrain systems.
• Document each service on RO using TRAIT app and upload pictures of work performed.
