Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and advanced repairs in a mobile/field environment. You will diagnose complex mechanical/electrical issues and triage repairs, while maintaining documentation and parts inventory on the service truck.

Schedule is Saturday through Wednesday, with 100% travel among customer sites. The role reports as an Independent Contributor, with opportunities for ongoing training and safety

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required; 3+ years in related field preferred.
• DOT/FMCSA/regulations knowledge a must; ASE certifications preferred.
• Must be able to complete DOT pre-employment screening and DOT physical as required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform DOT inspections and preventive maintenance on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field setting.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, cooling, braking, engine and transmission systems.
• Manage parts and tools on the service truck; document work orders via company app.
• Communicate with customers to assess needs and explain repairs and estimates.
• Maintain safety checks and pre-/post-trip inspections on the service vehicle.
