Job summary

Cox Automotive - USA is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, maintenance, and light repairs across a mobile fleet. You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and engine systems, document work in TRAIT, and manage parts on the service truck.

The role requires a HS diploma/GED, 3+ years in related field, ASE within 18 months, and the ability to work in a fast-paced field environment with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience performing DOT/PM inspections and basic diagnostics.
• ASE certification within 18 months is preferred.
• Valid DOT medical card and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and DOT inspections on mobile fleet.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Document work orders with photos and parts used in TRAIT app.
• Coordinate with customers and manage parts inventory on the service truck.
