Job summary

Cox Fleet in the United States seeks a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and light to moderate repairs in a field environment. You will diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and cooling systems, test drive vehicles, manage parts on the service truck, and document findings in the TRAIT app.

A HS diploma and ASE T8 certification within 18 months are required; weekly pay and comprehensive benefits support your career with safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 3 years in related field or 5 years in related field.
• Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months of hire.
• DOT medical card with validity beyond four months preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM inspections and DOT inspections on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environments.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems.
• Inspect, road test, and diagnose malfunctions to ensure proper operation.
• Manage parts inventory on the company service truck and document RO findings in TRAIT app.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance per DOT, OSHA, and company policies.
