Job summary

This position requires 9 years of hands-on experience with Class 7/8 trucks, a valid CDL and Medical card, and strong mechanical aptitude. Company offers benefits and growth opportunities in a large dealer network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 9 years' experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
• Current CDL and Medical card as required by FMVSS.
• Mechanical aptitude and technical ability are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of equipment according to company standards.
• Handle basic maintenance of the truck including fueling, oil checks, cleaning and inspections.
• Manage inventory control on the service truck and keep vehicle stocked.
• Report to the Service Manager and perform daily duties.
• Be available for after-hours service calls and flexible scheduling.
• Read job orders and determine repair procedures from vehicle observations.
