Rush Truck Centers in Amarillo, TX is seeking a Mobile Diesel Mechanic to maintain our fleet at client locations and perform service calls on-site. You will diagnose, perform preventive maintenance and parts replacement, while delivering strong customer service.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 9 years of Class 7 & 8 technician experience, and a valid CDL and Medical card. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 9 years' experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
• Current and valid CDL license and Medical card as required by FMVSS.
• Mechanical aptitude and technical ability are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of equipment per company standards.
• Perform basic truck maintenance: fuel, oil checks, cleaning, and inspections.
• Manage service truck inventory and keep vehicle stocked.
• Report to the Service Manager and perform daily assigned duties.
• Be available for after-hours service and flexible work schedule.
• Use diagnostic equipment and manuals to identify and repair issues.
• Document work in the company computer system.
• Communicate with customers about repairs and future recommendations.
