Job summary

Rush Truck Leasing in California is seeking a Mobile Mechanic to maintain fleet equipment, perform on-site service calls, and ensure customer satisfaction. You will inspect, service, and repair diesel trucks, manage service truck inventory, and document diagnostics and repairs using the company system.

The position requires a High school diploma or GED, 2 years of Class 7 & 8 technician experience, and a valid CDL with Medical card.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• CDL and driving experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and technical ability required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of equipment according to company standards.
• Handle basic maintenance of trucks including fueling, oil checks, and inspections.
• Manage inventory for service truck and vehicle supplies.
• Respond to service calls and maintain after-hours availability.
• Document work performed accurately in the mobile service system.
