Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5 years' experience as Class 7 & 8 technician in dealership or truck service.
• Current CDL and Medical card as required by FMVS.
• Mechanical aptitude and technical ability are required.
• Valid driver's license with insurability per company policy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of equipment according to company standards.
• Perform basic maintenance including fueling, oil checks, cleanliness, and inspections.
• Manage service truck inventory and keep vehicle stocked.
• Report to the Service Manager and receive daily duties.
• Remain available for after-hours service calls and flexible schedule.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment to identify malfunctions and repair procedures.
• Document work in the company computer system.
• Coordinate with customers and service writers on recommended repairs within 3 months.
