Job summary

Fleet Services by Cox Automotive in Los Angeles is looking for a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II. This role involves performing DOT inspections and preventative maintenance on diesel vehicles, as well as diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems. Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma/GED, experience in automotive repair, and the ability to obtain ASE T8 certification within 18 months. The position ensures flexibility with a dedicated career path and excellent benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in a related field or relevant degree/certification.
• Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary for the job.
• Able to pass a DOT-regulated pre-employment screening and physical.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Document work performed and maintain service truck.
