Cox Automotive is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on light to heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field setting across the United States. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and document all work using the TRAIT app.

The role features a day shift with a remote-work option within the country, and a competitive hourly base pay with potential incentives including commissions or bonuses.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with 3 years related experience.
• Possess and supply a set of hand tools needed for duties.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• DOT regulatory compliance knowledge and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Perform PMs, DOT inspections, and repairs on vehicles in mobile/field setting.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems.
• Document work performed, parts used, and RO findings via TRAIT app.
