Job summary

Rush Enterprises, Inc is seeking a Mobile Mechanic to maintain fleets and perform on-site service calls at client locations in the Phoenix area. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnostics, part replacement, and customer communication to ensure service quality.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
• Current and valid CDL and Medical card as required by FMVSS.
• Mechanical aptitude and technical ability are essential.
• Must possess a valid driver license with insurability standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of equipment according to company standards.
• Handle basic maintenance of the truck including fueling, oil checks, cleaning, and documenting inspections.
• Manage inventory control on the service truck and keep vehicle stocked.
• Report to the Service Manager and be assigned daily duties.
• Maintain availability for after-hours service and open work schedule.
• Maintain and inventory tools for diesel engine maintenance.
• Read job orders and diagnose malfunctions to plan work.
