Job summary

Rush Enterprises, Inc. is seeking Experienced Mobile Diesel Technicians to support our fleet at client sites across the United States. You will perform on-site maintenance, diagnostics, and preventative work on commercial trucks, ensuring rapid, high-quality service.

The role requires 5 years of Class 7/8 technician experience, certifications where applicable, and readiness to travel to customer locations. CDL preferred; medical card per FMVSS is required; rewards include competitive pay and

Qualifications

• Five years' experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
• Current CDL preferred but not required.
• Medical card as required by FMVSS.
• Peterbilt, International, Ford, Hino, Isuzu, Cummins & ASE certifications are preferred & rewarded.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of equipment according to company standards.
• Handle basic maintenance of the truck including fueling, oil checks, cleanliness, and required inspections.
• Manage inventory control on the service truck and for stocking the vehicle.
• Report to the Service Manager and take daily assigned duties.
• Remain available for after-hours service calls and open work schedule.
