Job summary

Avis Budget Group in Las Vegas is seeking an experienced automotive technician to perform mechanical repairs on Budget Truck cargo vans and box trucks. You will handle preventive maintenance, electrical diagnostics, and warranty repairs with minimal supervision.

You may also perform mobile repairs at customer sites and drive Budget Trucks on public roads as needed. On-site role requires ASE certification and a valid CDL and tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience performing mechanical repairs and diagnostics on medium-duty or heavy-duty equipment.
• Must have at least 1 ASE certification, with ability to obtain 2 more within first year.
• Valid Driver’s License Class A, B, or C.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and complex mechanical repairs on a fleet of cargo vans and box trucks.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, oil and fluid services, tire repairs, brakes, suspension work, electrical diagnostics.
• Possibly travel to vehicle locations for mobile repairs and drive Budget Trucks on public roads when needed.
