Job summary

Avis Budget Group's Budget Truck division is hiring a Diesel Mechanic to perform routine maintenance and repairs on a range of cargo vans and box trucks. You will work with minimal supervision and may travel to vehicles in the field to complete repairs.

Required are a valid CDL (A/B/C), at least 2 years of mechanical repair experience, and at least 1 ASE certification with potential to gain 2 more within the first year. On-site work and outdoor conditions apply.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A/B/C required.
• 1 ASE certification with ability to acquire 2 more within first year.
• Experience with heavy-duty and medium-duty equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on cargo vans and box trucks.
• Assist experienced mechanics on complex repairs.
• Travel to vehicle locations to complete repairs when needed.
• Drive Budget Truck vehicles on public roads as required.
