Job summary

Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center in Rome, GA is seeking a Mobile CT Technologist to operate CT equipment for diagnostic procedures, collect patient histories, and ensure exam accuracy with physician orders. This full-time role requires attention to safety and patient care throughout imaging processes.

You will position patients, adjust scanning factors, administer contrast under Radiologist direction, post-process images, and document data accurately in the radiology information system,

Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond high school in Radiologic Technology.
• No experience required.
• Must have state radiographer license and ARRT CT registration within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to perform basic and intermediate diagnostic procedures.
• Obtain patient history and ensure exam accuracy with physician orders.
• Position patients and adjust scanning factors for correct images and safety.
• Administer contrast under Radiologist direction and assist with scanning.
• Post-process images and label with patient data and study location.
• Maintain records and bill procedures; enter data into RIS.
